This is not a beautified image, nor a story crafted by the news. This is the reality of the women of Jisr az-Zarqa—hardworking, capable, and in need of nothing more than a fair opportunity and a supportive environment in which to thrive, free from the discrimination that confines women to stereotypical roles.
