The Palestinian village of Tantura has returned to the spotlight.

The Moshav Dor settlement, established on the ruins of the village, has decided to construct a tourist complex over the sites of mass graves dating back to the Nakba.

On Wednesday, the Adalah organization published a statement announcing that, on behalf of the “Committee of Displaced Tantura Residents and Survivors,” it had approached the Moshav Dor secretariat, calling on it to abandon the plan and take the necessary measures to protect, identify, and fence off the mass graves, as well as install informational signs marking their locations in the depopulated village of Tantura.
