Now in Jisr az-Zarqa – Ayman Odeh

The only indigenous community that remained on the Mediterranean coast after the Nakba lives in this entirely Arab village. Since the Nakba, its residents have endured discrimination and severe restrictions. Ironically, its neighboring town is the affluent Caesarea, where Benjamin Netanyahu resides. This, he argues, is apartheid in one of its starkest manifestations. Today, further restrictions are being imposed on this quiet fishing village.

Jisr az-Zarqa deserves the support of us all to stand against these plans and to ensure sincere efforts and investment toward its development.
