From Memory, We Create the Story…

As part of the PhotoVoice program, participating groups took part in an educational visit to the Jisr al-Zarqa Museum to learn firsthand about the village’s narrative and story, as well as its heritage and the memories of its people.

The visit was an important educational experience that helped enrich the visual and audio story the participants are working on, connecting images and storytelling with memory, place, and identity.

It is worth noting that the Jisr al-Zarqa Heritage Center is a partner in implementing the PhotoVoice program, alongside the Joint Social Initiative, the Youth Department, the Youth Center, and the Matar Center in Jisr al-Zarqa.
