The children and youth participating in the “Children of the Sea” program continue to demonstrate remarkable enthusiasm and creativity during the theoretical educational sessions. They explore the world of the sea, its ecosystems, and natural components through an interactive framework that combines knowledge, dialogue, and simple applied activities.

These preparatory sessions serve as a foundation for upcoming field meetings and tours, which will allow participants to discover the shoreline and its elements up close, and to connect what they have learned theoretically with real-life experience in the field.

The program aims to nurture scientific curiosity, enhance environmental awareness, and build a conscious and responsible relationship with the sea as an essential part of identity and place.

It is worth noting that this unique and distinguished program is implemented under the leadership of EcoOcean Organization and the Jisr az-Zarqa Heritage Center, in cooperation with the local councils of Jisr az-Zarqa and Fureidis.
