Jisr az-Zarqa Health in the Historical and Cultural Context

On Monday, 11/8/25, the Jisr az-Zarqa Heritage Center hosted the Arab Society Community Health Development Team, led by Dr. Nour Abd al-Hadi Shihbari and Mr. Khaled Ghurra, along with directors and managers of health departments in Arab local authorities.

The visit to the Jisr az-Zarqa Museum was part of an educational tour in Jisr az-Zarqa, which included a session at the local council in the presence of council head Mr. Murad Ammash and the council’s Health Unit Director, Mr. Hamdan Jirban. Sami Al-Ali presented a historical overview of the village, highlighting the transformations and challenges in the field of health over the decades.
