The Jisr az-Zarqa Heritage Center and EcoOcean Association, in cooperation with the Jisr az-Zarqa Local Council and the Fureidis Local Council, have announced the opening of registration for the “Children of the Sea” project. This is a pioneering educational and environmental program aimed at connecting children to the world of the sea and strengthening their sense of belonging to the coastal environment and maritime heritage.

The project is part of the “Mill of Winds” program at the Jisr az-Zarqa Heritage Center, which works to instill environmental values and the heritage of Jisr az-Zarqa in the younger generation, while also nurturing a conscious youth leadership aware of its role in protecting the marine environment and preserving coastal identity.

The program includes 15 interactive and engaging sessions, during which participants will experience unique encounters with the marine world. These activities are designed to provide children with in-depth knowledge and new skills in marine and environmental fields.

The Jisr az-Zarqa Heritage Center and EcoOcean Association have called on parents to encourage their children to participate in this unique initiative, which combines enjoyment, learning, and a strong sense of connection to the sea.
